PRE-TRANSACTION COMPANY REVIEW
Review the Company Before the Transaction
A company should be reviewed before it is offered for sale or acquired by a new owner. Its value and suitability depend on what the company includes, its current status, existing obligations and the purpose for which it may be used.
Before Selling a Company
Understand the company’s current market value, what may interest buyers and whether any preparation is needed before the sale begins.
Before Buying a Company
Understand what you are acquiring, identify important questions or potential issues and determine whether any additional checks are required before proceeding.
That is why we recommend starting with a Pre-Transaction Company Review.
We review the available company information before the call and then discuss our findings, the main considerations and the practical next steps during a 60-minute session.
Pre-session company review + 60-minute session – $300 paid upfront.
If we continue working together after the session, the $300 fee is deducted from your future Business Expansion invoice.
How Pre-Transaction Company Review Works
Pre-Transaction Company Review combines the analysis we complete before the call with a 60-minute working session focused on the company, the proposed sale or purchase and the practical next steps.
Send Your Request
Tell us whether you are planning to sell a company or review one before purchase. Share the available company details and briefly explain what you want to understand before proceeding.
Initial Review
We first review your request and confirm whether a paid company review is appropriate. If the situation is straightforward, we will recommend the relevant next step without turning it into a paid session.
Share Company Information
After paying the $300 review fee, send us the information and materials already available, such as company records, licences, registrations, financial or operational information and the proposed transaction terms.
There is no need to prepare anything specifically for the review.
Company Review
Before the session, we review the company’s current position, what is included, its likely market value where relevant, and any issues, gaps or dependencies that may affect the sale or purchase.
60-Minute Review Session
During the session, we go through the findings, clarify the main questions and discuss whether the company is ready for the transaction or whether further preparation or additional checks are required.
By the end of the call, you will have a clearer understanding of the company and the practical next steps.
What You Leave With
Pre-Transaction Company Review does not include full legal, financial, tax or technical due diligence, a formal valuation report or guaranteed completion of the transaction.
It gives sellers and buyers a practical understanding of the company, the main questions affecting the transaction and what should happen next.
You leave with a clearer view of:
- what the company includes and what can be transferred;
- its indicative market value before a sale or whether the asking price is commercially reasonable before a purchase;
- which liabilities, gaps, approvals or dependencies may affect the transaction;
- what information or additional checks are still required;
- whether the company is ready to be offered for sale or acquired;
- which next step is most appropriate.
Some points may be clear enough for the seller or buyer to handle independently.
For sellers, Business Expansion can help prepare and position the company, approach relevant buyers through its network, manage discussions and coordinate the sale through ownership transfer and handover.
For buyers, we can help clarify outstanding questions, coordinate further checks and support the acquisition and company handover.

Why Start With Business Expansion
A company transaction may involve lawyers, accountants, licensing specialists and other advisers, but each usually reviews only the area within their own responsibility.
This can leave the seller or buyer without a clear overall view of what the company includes, how it may be valued, what could affect the transaction and which additional checks or preparation are actually required.
Business Expansion starts with the proposed sale or purchase rather than one isolated legal, financial or operational component.
We review the company from a practical transaction perspective and help determine its likely market position, the main issues that need attention and the most appropriate next steps before the parties proceed.
